Torrents downloading less than 1mps

Less than 1mb download speed with fibre. Prior to upgrading to fibre broadband our download speed was generally around kb-1mbps, which was extremely slow however I thought upgrading to fibre would make a significant improvement. Our fibre package was activated yesterday morning and we continue to have less than 1mb download speed. To check this, try downloading a Featured Content torrent on another network. If you can download a torrent on another network (particularly a fast wifi network), then it's likely that your wifi network is causing the issue. To fix this, tap on Menu, then Settings, then Incoming TCP Port in our app. Look at the TCP Port number, and increment. My up speed is generally higher than my down speed. Here's an image of a traceroute to Google, for what it's worth. I tether internet to this PC, so the device sharing internet is the first IP in the route. Internet speed has been tested without tether with similar results. I've tried using different wireless channels.

Steam unpacks and installs game files as it downloads them. Check HDD load while donwloading. + CPU, decompressing and validating files takes cpu cycles and not too less. Posted Ma. I thought I had made that clear in the first post by specifying 1 MBps = 8 Mbps. Anyway my Internet speed is 80 Mbit/sec and I can't download faster than 8 Mbit/sec using uTorrent. My upload speeds are unaffected as my overall upload speeds have reached the full 80 Mbit/sec. Link to comment.
